Avocado, Basil and Ricotta Dip

Right now you don't make a party without nice dip. This avocado, basil and ricotta dip, with its Mediterranean flavor is tastier than any other basic dips.

Ingredients:

1 avocado, peeled and pitted
2 tbsp. fresh basil, coarsely chopped
1 cup ricotta
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp.  lemon zest
3 oz. cheddar grated
Salt and pepper  to taste

Method

In the bowl of a food processor place the avocado, basil, lemon zest and lemon juice.
Pulse until smooth in order to get a nice puree.
Stir in the ricotta cheese and add the seasoning.
Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with the grated cheddar.
